  Republic Day in India is celebrated on January 26 every year. It is a national holiday in India. On this day, we honor the day when the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India and thus, turning the nation into a newly formed republic. Every Indian celebrate this day as a national holiday with passion, enthusiasm, and a lot of respect. Indian wears traditional clothes specifically in the color of India’s flag and celebrate the day with unity and brotherhood.  Republic Day celebrations are held in the national capital of India, which is New Delhi, at Rajpath organized by the Ministry of Defence before the President of India and ahead of the state or government of another country as the state guest of honor.
